Wynyard Regional Park
The campground is now closed for the season, but the park is still open for daily use ($5/day/family).
Did You Know?
- A Regional Park pass (seasonal or day) is required to use the Wynyard & District regional Park
- The proceeds from every park pass (seasonal or day) stay with the park where it was sold
- Regional Park Passes are available at the Wynyard Town Office and at Wynyard Home Hardware
- Fishing requires a Provincial License.
Park Use Fees
Daily Use Pass: $5.00/family
Season Pass: $50.00/family
Camping: $15.00/night (non-electric), $20.00/night (electric) – add $5.00/night if you do not have a season pass
The park uses the honor system; the only way we can maintain and upgrade park facilities is if everyone pays their park fees. If you enjoy using the park, please support the park!
The Wynyard Regional Park stays open year-round for walking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, etc. Motorized vehicles of any kind are not permitted on the Regional Park Trails.
Located at Wynyard’s west entrance, 2.5 km south off the Yellowhead highway on Grid #640. This quiet well treed Park is ideal for nature lovers. The reservoir, behind the old C.P.R. dam, is aerated and supports a healthy population of rainbow trout. Canoes, kayaks, and electrical powered boats are allowed on the reservoir. A coin-operated potable water station is available at the Wynyard Town Shop located at 305 Ave. A West in Wynyard.
Park camping and amenities are available from Victoria Day long weekend until the end of September. Camping amenities include 15 and 30 AMP hook-ups, washrooms, showers, non-potable water, dumping station, firewood, picnic tables and fire pits.
Park Information or Assistance
Please note – there is no full-time park attendant at the campground. The park facilities are cleaned and restocked once daily (washrooms, showers, firewood, garbage collection, etc.). For park information and assistance, please phone 306-554-3661 Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. After hours, please leave a voicemail and we will return your call the next working day.
Camping
The Park boasts 22 camp sites (with both 15 and 30 amp service), modern washrooms and showers for campers, RV sewage dumping station, picnic tables, fire pits, BBQ’s, and free firewood.
Camping fees:
Non-electric Site: $15.00/night (add $5/night if you do not have a Regional Park Season Pass)
Electric Site: $20.00/night (add $5/night if you do not have a Regional Park Season Pass)
Weekly Camping: $100/week (Regional Park Season Pass required)
Monthly Camping: $400/month (Regional Park Season Pass required)
Seasonal Camping: $1200/season (Victoria Long Weekend – Sept. 30th, Regional Park Season Pass required)
Camping fees and park pass fees can be paid by credit card via phone at 306-554-3661 or can be paid when you arrive at the Park Office (cash or cheque only).

Regional Park Pass
A Regional Park Season Pass or a Day Pass is required when visiting the park (camping, hiking, fishing, day visit, etc.). Season Passes are available at the Wynyard Town Office (435 Bosworth Street) or from the Home Hardware for $50.00. Day passes ($5.00) can be paid for at the park entrance.
