Call to Order:

Mayor Boylak called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Prystai – that we adopt the minutes of the previous regular meeting of November 21, 2017 as circulated.

Prystai – that we approve the following Business Licence Application:

Payroll Vouchers #1526 to #1545 = $ 22,776.87

Kucey – that we approve the P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. Town of Wynyard Landfill groundwater delineation proposal in the amount of $12,309 plus taxes.

Karakochuk – that we authorize piezometer tests at the town of Wynyard Landfill at a cost of $4,604 plus taxes.

Karakochuk – that we accept Cory Reid’s resignation letter with regret.

#859/17 Town of Wynyard Employee Retirement:

Kucey – that we accept Laverne Popadynetz’s letter of retirement with regret and congratulations.

#860/17 Public Works Department Employment:

Karakochuk – that we authorize advertising for two Public Works positions, one Labourer and one Equipment Operator, in the Wynyard/Advance Gazette.

#869/17 Wynyard Technologies Easement Agreement:

Kucey – that we authorize paying the legal fee for the Wynyard Technologies easement in the amount of $584.

#870/17 Sofina Foundation Dream Builders’ Campaign:

Jordan – that we authorize a reduced rate for the Sofina Foundation Dream Builders’ Fundraiser held on November 27, 2017.

Prystai – that we authorize sponsoring thirty “Smart Choices for Life” safety books, to be distributed to local school children, in the amount of $472.50.

Karakochuk – that we authorize the 2018 Saskatchewan Heritage membership in the amount of $50 plus GST.

#873/17 Vehicle Tenders:

Karakochuk – that we accept the $300 tender from Bernhardt Borgmann for the 1999 Ford F150 truck and an impounded 2005 Dodge Caravan.

Prystai – that we renew our maturing GIC at 1.38% for 90 days non-redeemable.
