Call to Order:

Mayor Boylak called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Prystai – that we adopt the minutes of the previous regular meeting of July 18, 2017 as circulated.

Prystai – that, as recommended by our Information Technology Contractor, we purchase one more tower for our server at a cost of $2,250 plus installation and taxes.

Swinburnson – that we instruct Public Works Superintendent Melsted to place an ad in The Advance/Gazette to educate the public of the new waste disposal practices, including composting, recently implemented in the Town of Wynyard.

#603/17 Pleasantview Cemetery Board:

Prystai – that we receive Teddi Short’s resignation from the Pleasantview Cemetery Board with regret.

Karakochuk – that we appoint Councillor Fern Swinburnson as a Town of Wynyard representative on the Pleasantview Cemetery Board.

Prystai – that we approve Change Order #3 for removing black dirt and replacing with proper base fill for the Recycle Centre project in the amount of $29,107.

#607/17 2017 SUMA Central Regional Meeting:

Prystai– that we authorize any member of Council and the Chief Administrative Officer to attend the 2017 SUMA Central Regional Meeting in Davidson, October 4, 2017 at a cost of $25 per person plus expenses.
