Call to Order:

Mayor Boylak called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Prystai – that we adopt the minutes of the previous regular meeting of March 19, 2019 as circulated.

Swinburnson – that we approve the following Building Permit Applications:

General Government Committee of Councillors Jordan, Kostyk and Prystai and attached hereto:

Swinburnson– that we place “The Wynyard Story” history books for sale at a price of $20 per book.

#196/19 Recycle Centre Access Policy:

Prystai – that, as recommended by SUMA lawyer Steven Dribnenki, we instruct CAO Chorneyko to create a Recycle Centre Policy regarding rules for entering the facility and the consequences for breaking those rules.

#197/19 SUMA Town & Village Sector Meeting:

Prystai – that we authorize Chief Administrative Officer Chorneyko and any Councillor to attend the SUMA Workshop in Prince Albert on May 8, 2019 at a cost of $65 plus expenses and the SUMA Town & Village Sector meeting, also in Prince Albert, May 9, 2019 at a cost of $25 plus expenses.

Kucey – that we approve repairing the Ridgid Freeze kit at a cost of $1,350.

Karakochuk – that we approve ordering 4,000 kg of calcium chloride from Cleartech at a cost of $.08/kg totaling $3,200.

Jordan – that we approve hiring people for the Parks and Public Works Labourer positions as per the attached list.

#206/19 Curling Rock Shelf:

Jordan – that we purchase a curling rock storage shelf from SCL Welding at a cost of $796 plus applicable taxes.

#207/19 Town of Wynyard and Golf Club Executive Agreement:

Jordan – that we authorize the agreement between the Town of Wynyard and the Golf Club Executive as attached hereto.

#208/19 2019 Golf Season Rates:

Jordan – that we approve the rates for the 2019 golf season as per the list attached hereto.

Prystai – that we approve PRC #14 which includes adding additional support to the pony wall on the mezzanine level at a cost of $3,044.14.

presented.

#211/19 Bylaw Enforcement Officer’s Report:

Prystai – that we receive the Bylaw Enforcement Officer’s Report as presented.

#212/19 2019 Potential Education Mill Rates:

Kostyk – that we receive the Minister of Government Relations letter containing the potential 2019 education mill rates.

#213/19 Rural Municipal Administrator’s Association Workshop:

Swinburnson – that we authorize Chief Administrative Officer Chorneyko to attend the RMAA “Back to the Basics” workshop being held on April 23, 2019 in Melville at a cost of $80 plus expenses.
