Call to Order:
Mayor Armstrong called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.

Kucey – that we adopt the minutes of the previous meeting of April 1, 2010 as circulated.

Lamb – that we approve the following lottery licence applications:

#203/10 2010 UMAAS Convention:
Kucey – that we authorize Town Administrator Jason Chorneyko to attend the 2010 UMAAS Convention on June 8 to 11, 2010 at a cost of $135 plus expenses.

#204/10 Lots 7-10, Block 8, Plan Q7104:
Lendzyk – that we agree, in principle, to rezone Lots 7-10, Block 8, Plan Q7104 to R2 subject to approval of an appropriate development plan.

#205/10 Civic Centre Lawn Mower:
Lendzyk – that we purchase a new lawn mower for the Civic Centre Complex at an estimated cost of $500.

#206/10 Medical Clinic Furnace:
Boylak – that we replace the incorrectly installed furnace venting pipes at the Medical Clinic at an estimated cost of $2,800.

#207/10 Chorneyko’s Report:
Kucey – that we receive Town Administrator Chorneyko’s report as presented.

#208/10 CP Rail Crossing Agreement:
Kucey – that we authorize Mayor Armstrong and Town Administrator Chorneyko to sign the updated CP Rail Crossing Agreement between the CPR, 101158882 Saskatchewan Ltd. (a poultry farm), and the Town of Wynyard.

#209/10 Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association:
Lamb – that we refer the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation letter to the Director of Leisure Services.

#210/10 Pleasantview Cemetery Grant:
Kostyk – that we approve the 2010 Pleasantview Cemetery Grant in the amount of $7,000.

#211/10 Main Street Upgrade Project Contract:
Hordal – that we authorize Mayor Armstrong and Town Administrator Chorneyko to sign the Civil Works Contract between the Town of Wynyard and Woiden Construction for the Building Canada Fund Main Street Upgrade Project.

Kucey – that we receive and file the correspondence as per the list attached hereto.

Hordal – that we receive Mayor Armstrong’s report as presented.

#214/10 Wynyard CARRES:
Boylak – that, if approved for a second group home, we agree to donate land to Wynyard CARRES with the size of the lot to be determined at a later date.

215/10 Land Offer – Lot 6, Block B, Plan G143:
Boylak – that we deny Kris and Crystal Klebeck offer of $1,000 to purchase Lot 6, Block B, Plan G143 and make a counter offer of $2,500.

216/10 Postage Meter:
Boylak – that we renew the Pitney Bowes Postage Meter lease agreement at a rate of $178.81 per quarter.

217/10 Shingle Tender – Arena and Curling Rink:
Boylak – that we issue a request to tender to re-shingle the Wynyard Memorial Arena and the Wynyard Curling Rink.

Kostyk – that we receive the General Government report as presented by Councillor Boylak.

#219/10 Protection Report:
Kostyk – that we receive the Protection Report as presented by Councillor Lendzyk.

Boylak – that we refer the Residential and Commercial Garbage Storage Regulations to the Public Works Committee.
