Waterworks Foreman

The Town of Wynyard is a vibrant community seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Waterworks Foreman.

The successful applicant should be a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for the effective management, operation, and maintenance of a Trident II Water Treatment Plant Class II, and Water Distribution System Class II.

Qualifications: The preferred candidate will possess a Diploma in Water Resources Engineering Technology or related practical experience and strong background and knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure, possess or be willing to obtain required certificates and have mechanical and computer aptitude. A Class 5 drivers licence is required.

The position requires some shift work, callback and standby including nights and weekends, therefore residency will be required. The successful candidate must be able to work without supervision.
