Amma’s House is a designated heritage site farm home operating as a bed and breakfast and guesthouse. This large 1919 farm home has five bedrooms, large living and dining rooms, and a modern fully equipped kitchen. We offer overnight accommodations with a continental breakfast. We offer flexibility in accommodations. The B&B can be rented for daily or weekly exclusive use. This service is popular for people having family gatherings such as weddings or family reunions where large numbers of people need to be accommodated. We provide services to our clientele, be they commercial traveler or tourist, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. We offer clean, comfortable rooms (smoking or nonsmoking). Our staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. We believe in “service with a smile.” We are able to answer inquiries on all services in town or direct people to the proper source. We negotiate rates on room occupancy for large groups (i.e., meetings, weddings, funerals, sports, etc.). We provide a registration area and small meeting room. We also provide bellhop service, free coffee to room guests, suitcase storage area, taxi service, laundry service, telephone answering service, and a small confectionary store for guest’s convenience. Our business is a place where a person can relax and enjoy themselves. We supply three major services. These include booking guests into our hotel or motel, hosting customers in our beverage room, and selling offsale in the Beer & Wine Store. Our staff is friendly and eager to please. Each staff member has substantial knowledge in each of the three above areas as they are responsible for each service while working. The rooms (hotel and motel) are comfortable and clean. We provide reasonable rates for both small and large occasions. In our beverage room, we have a pool table and foose ball game. If this does not interest you, we also have a great selection of hits on our juke box. On occasion, we have entertainment (i.e., Bands, karaoke, and comedians). This provides great entertainment for a small town with long, cold, boring winters. The Cold Beer & Wine Store has a large selection of beverages with a great variation of refreshments that would quench anyone’s thirst. We are open seven days a week, 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 a.m. (except on holidays). We are not happy, unless the customer leaves with a SMILE!

The management of the Stone House Lodge invites you to stay in our deluxe suite located above the Wynyard Subway. The suite is totally private and is within walking distance of restaurants and the Wynyard Civic Center. It is an ideal setting for newlyweds, families and the traveling public. Our deluxe suite features two queen-size beds, a sitting area with queen-size hide-a-bed, fridge, microwave, and is equipped with satellite T.V. and internet access. With over 400 square feet of comfort, it can easily accommodate up to three individuals or six in a group. The bathroom features twin sinks, bath and separate shower for your convenience.

The Park is located 2.4 km’s south of Wynyard on Grid #640. It boasts 22 electrical camp sites, can accommodate a variety of large or small RV’s, campers, and tents. Included for your camping convenience are modern washrooms with showers, a playground, two sewage disposal tanks, drinking water, and a well-established trout fishery. The overnight camping fee is $10.00. This includes firewood. Reservations are accepted, but are not necessary. A day pass of $5.00, or a season pass of $15.00 will get you into the Park to enjoy the fishing or a picnic. For more information about the Park, call Roger during normal business hours.
